The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon Provincial Office through its Negosyo Center Guinayangan conducted information dissemination of DTI programs and services during the Stakeholders Dialogue and Trade Fair, a project on Technical Assistance for the Enhancement of Agri-Fishery Enterprises in Guinayangan under the AMIA Create program of the Department of Agriculture, held at the Bayside Open Conference Area, Brgy. Poblacion last 17 December 2021, in Guinayangan, Quezon Province.
During the event, Negosyo Center Guinayangan Business Counselor (BC) Nicole T. Chito personally discussed and provided information materials that will help capacitate the Agri-Fishery Enterprises in Guinayangan and empower the MSMEs through enhancement and marketing assistance. The entrepreneurs also showcased the various commodities of Guinayangan (both fresh and processed). The farmers and fisherfolks presented their business plan, needs, gaps, and enhancement plan for their businesses. The participants showed interest in the services and programs of DTI that IIRR and Negosyo Center Business Counselor Chito had an initial talk regarding the future projects of the NGO to serve and assist the potential micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The event was facilitated by the IIRR through Christy G. Tacugue, and Office of the Municipal Agriculture headed by Belinda O. Rosales. It was attended by Hon. Cesar J. Isaac III, Guinayangan Municipal Mayor, Representatives from the following offices: DA-RFO IV-A, and Office of the Congresswoman Dra. Helen Tan, and DTI – Negosyo Center Business Counselor Nicole T. Chito, and 29 potential MSMEs.
The said affair was ended with the ribbon cutting with the Municipal Mayor, Municipal Agriculturist, Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office IV-A, International Institute of Rural Reconstruction as the opening of the Trade Fair. ♦
