PAGBILAO, QUEZON — The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pagbilao, Quezon, invites the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of Quezon to participate in the Munisipyo sa Barangay event taking place in Brgy. Sta. Catalina, Pagbilao, Quezon. The primary objective of this activity is to provide government frontline services for the benefit of the community.

During the event, the Municipal Mayor of Pagbilao, Quezon, Angelica “Ate Gigi” Portes-Tatlonghari, gave a warm welcome message, expressing her support as she spearheaded the event for the constituents of Brgy. Sta. Catalina. Also, present in the event were the representatives from various local and national government agencies such as the Bureau of Fire Protection, DTI, Municipal Agriculturist Office, Municipal Assessor’s Office, Municipal Civil Registrar Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Municipal Engineering Office, Municipal Environmental Resource Office, Municipal Gender and Development, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Social Welfare and Development, Municipal Treasurer’s Office, National Bureau of Investigation, Pag-Ibig, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Philippine Statistics Authority, Public Employment Service Office, Social Security System, and the Pastorfide Law Office, all offering their services to the community.

Ms. Marijoyce Layesa, the Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Pagbilao, as a representative of DTI, presented an informative discussion on the various programs and services offered by the department to increase the awareness of the barangay constituents. She also addressed inquiries and concerns from the attendees regarding

DTI programs and services, particularly Business Name Registration. Overall, the event was a success, with approximately one hundred thirty (130) participants.  ♦
