PAGBILAO, QUEZON — The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Pagbilao, Quezon, extended an invitation to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) of Quezon to participate in the Munisipyo sa Barangay event held in Brgy. Iba. Polo Pagbilao, Quezon. The primary objective of this activity is to provide government frontline services for the benefit of the community.

The event commenced with a warm welcome message from the Brgy. Captain of Brgy. Iba. Polo expressed gratitude to all the attendees and acknowledged the participation of various local and national government agencies. Angelica “Ate Gigi” Portes-Tatlonghari, the Municipal Mayor of Pagbilao, Quezon, also delivered a welcome message, expressing her support as she spearheaded the event for the constituents of Brgy. Iba. Polo. Representatives from various local and national government agencies such as the Bureau of Fire Protection, DTI, Municipal Agriculturist Office, Municipal Assessor’s Office, Municipal Civil Registrar Office, Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Municipal Engineering Office, Municipal Environmental Resource Office, Municipal Gender and Development, Municipal Health Office, Municipal Social Welfare and Development, Municipal Treasurer’s Office, National Bureau of Investigation, Pag-Ibig, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, Philippine Statistics Authority, Public Employment Service Office, and the Pastorfide Law Office, were present at the event, offering their services to the community.

As a representative of DTI, Ms. Marijoyce Layesa, the Business Counselor of Negosyo Center Pagbilao, conducted an informative discussion on the various programs and services offered by the department. Her discussion aimed to increase awareness among the barangay constituents and address inquiries and concerns about DTI programs and services. The Brgy. Officials of Brgy. Iba. Polo actively assisted in organizing the event, contributing to its success with approximately one hundred eighty (180) participants.
