The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 4-A CALABARZON, through DTI Cavite and DTI Quezon, conducted Module 5: Digitalization via Zoom. The program was honored to have Ms. Josephine Romero, Senior Adviser to the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines and the Philippine Center for Entrepreneurship-Go Negosyo, as the session’s mentor.

Romero discussed in detail what digitalization is. To get to know the background of the mentees, she asked questions about communication, social media, payments, and e-commerce. Moving forward with the lecture proper, Romero introduced the 3Ms of Digitalization: Mentorship, Money, and Market. The presentation of the mentor was followed by an open forum where mentees shared their experiences of establishing and practicing digitalization in their respective businesses.

During the breakout session, the mentees were asked to share a popular brand slogan and what they did during the pandemic to make their online presence stronger.

DTI Representatives Ma. Cristina J. Avio introduced the mentor, while Jaryz Eden J. Lloce awarded the Certificate of Appreciation to the speaker. Negosyo Center Unisan Business Counselor John Mark P. Ricaro served as the host, which was attended by 54 mentees of the Region 4A Kapatid Mentor ME-Money Market Encounter (KMME-MME) Online Exclusive Sector (Online Sellers) Batch 1. ♦
