DTI Rizal awarded business kits to the identified beneficiaries in the municipality of Pililla, Rizal under the Livelihood Seeding Program (LSP)-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (NSB) Program through Negosyo Center Pililla on 13 July, 2022.

A total of 27 eligible beneficiaries, 3 from each barangay, received business kits worth 10,000 pesos in Pililla, Rizal. Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) is a program of DTI that allows a wider reach of business development assistance by bringing government services closer to the people through partnerships between relevant local government units and DTI officials, including the provision of livelihood kits to eligible beneficiaries. All recipients are owners of sari-sari stores who have been impacted by the pandemic; they all attended program orientation and submitted the necessary requirements to be eligible for the program, including the DTI Business Name Certificate, Municipal Business Permit, and/or Barangay Business Permit.

On behalf of Municipal Mayor Hon. Dan V. Masinsin, Mr. Eligio Villareal, GSO Head-LGU Pillila, delivered his welcome remarks. He acknowledges the untiring support of DTI Rizal to the municipality and for bringing the program closer to the community. DTI-Rizal Provincial Director Desiderio G. Jurado III, then delivered a cordial message to participants. He emphasized that DTI Rizal will continue to provide beneficial programs to MSEs in the municipality and looks forward to its expansion and development. The program ended at 11:30 in the morning.♦
