The Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal Provincial Office through Negosyo Center Morong and Cardona awarded livelihood kits to beneficiaries under the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program at the Municipal Covered Court, San Pedro, Morong, Rizal. A total of thirty (30) sari-sari store beneficiaries profiled from Morong and Cardona, Rizal, were awarded livelihood kits worth Php 10,000.00 each.

Negosyo Center Morong Business Counselor Leah Mae L. Clemente facilitated the program and welcomed the participants. DTI Rizal Business Development Division Chief Sharon F. Dioco discussed the program overview and gave the beneficiaries a brief background of the program and its achievements in the province.

On behalf of Mayor Sidney Soriano, LGU Morong Human Resources Officer Teodoro S. Trinidad then delivered his welcoming remarks to the audience. He acknowledged DTI Rizal’s support in developing the municipality’s economic growth and wished for the beneficiaries to utilize their livelihood kits to their full capacity.

Mr. Christian Samiado of MDY Variety Store and Mr. Reynaldo Carlos of Mame Ghay Sari-Sari Store gave testimonials. They shared the struggles they faced amidst the pandemic as well as their gratitude and appreciation towards DTI and the PPG program.

Present also in the program are DTI Rizal STIDS Marlene De Luna, TIDS Jonalyn Adaya, PPG Support Staff Jocelyn Ferrer and Michael Avisado, and Negosyo Center Business Counselors Faye Javier and Felipe Fortunato. ♦
