The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal Provincial Office conducted the hybrid session of the Collaborative Harnessing and Mentoring Program for SMEs (CHAMPS) Season 3 Creative Industry Track Module on Cutting-edge Designs and Updates at the Robinsons Place Antipolo and simultaneously through the Zoom application and Facebook Live. The hybrid session was attended by CHAMPS Season 3 beneficiaries and MSMES from Rizal province.
The activity was hosted by Negosyo Center Baras Business Counselor Leah Mae L. Clemente. On behalf of DTI Rizal Provincial Director Desiderio G. Jurado III, Business Development Division Chief Sharon F. Dioco gave her welcoming remarks. Ms. Dioco warmly received the participants and guests in attendance for the program. She cited the significance of understanding creative innovation and design concepts. The resource speaker, Mr. Ronald Rommel N. Viloria, Design Director of Viloria Product Design Enterprise, discussed the module on cutting-edge designs and updates. His presentation focused on design thinking and the method, covering the proper mindset towards product innovation. He also presented case studies of the product developments he was involved in as a design consultant under the One Town One Product (OTOP) program of DTI Rizal. ♦
