The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal Provincial Office continues to train micro and small business owners so that they can expand their operations and improve their products. The Collaborative Harnessing and Mentoring Program for Micro Entrepreneurs in Rizal (CHAMPS-Rizal) will equip entrepreneurs to participate in DTI’s flagship programs such as Kapatid Mentor ME and One Town One Product (OTOP) through a localized remote mentoring intervention.
On 8 June 2022, at 1:00 in the afternoon, module 7 of CHAMPS Season 3, entitled Establishing Your Business Through Branding, was conducted through the Zoom application and Facebook Live. The webinar, which was organized by the DTI Rizal, was attended by CHAMPS beneficiaries and other MSEs from the province. Negosyo Center Antipolo Business Counselor Daryl M. Andres hosted the activity.
The program started with a prayer, followed by the DTI Hymn. Sharon F. Dioco, Chief of the Business Development Division, delivered her welcome remarks. Then, Business Counselor (BC) Andres introduced Mr. Lucas Luchico, Creative Director of Publicis Groupe, as the resource speaker. Mr. Luchico discussed the subject matter. He emphasized the importance of the 8-Step Checklist in branding. He also gave the main points to consider when creating a business logo and tag line.
The questions were gladly answered by the speaker, who gave satisfaction to the participants. Afterwards, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to the resource speaker. The fruitful webinar successfully concluded at 3:30 in the afternoon. ♦
