The Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal Provincial Office successfully launched a webinar roadshow of “RISE UP with SBCorp” on 8 July 2022 via the Zoom. A total of 32 existing and potential entrepreneurs attended the event.

RISE UP with SBCorp is a loan program of Small Business Corporation with the objective of sustaining the gains of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that have survived the current worldwide crisis—the COVID-19 pandemic. It stands for “Resilient, Innovative, and Sustainable Enterprise; Unleash your Powers with SB Corporation.”

The webinar, which was facilitated by Negosyo Center Angono Business Counselor Roselle Galcing.

Mr. Francis Daniel Rebollado, an Account Management Analyst II of SB Corporation, presented the RISE UP program. From which, he discussed the RISE UP multi-purpose loan, RISE UP Turismo, and RISE UP Tindahan. The eligibility, qualifications, and requirements of these loan programs were also very well explained by Mr. Rebollado.

There was also a Q & A portion in the webinar to answer the participants’ curiosity and clarify the RISE UP loan program.

Finally, DTI-Rizal Business Development Division Chief Sharon Dioco delivered the closing remarks. She thanked the participants for attending the roadshow and encouraged them to invite other MSMEs to the other session of RISE UP with SBCorp, which she tagged as RISE UP Fridays. The roadshow webinar series is set for every Friday in July. The next sessions are on July 15, 22, and 29, 2022, to be hosted by the Negosyo Centers in the Province of Rizal. ♦
