In an effort to continuously support MSME’s to improve Entrepreneurial knowledge and capability, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal Provincial Office recently conducted the CHAMPS Season 3 Launching Ceremony and Module 1 featuring Developing Entrepreneurial Mindset. This was held on 7 April 2022 Thursday via Zoom application and Facebook live.

Provincial Director Desiderio G. Jurado III of DTI Rizal Provincial Office gave his warm welcome remarks. PD Jurado challenged these entrepreneurs who will be given new types of knowledge related to supply disruption, business continuity planning massive change in cash flow as well as digital marketing, ecommerce, digital payment systems and web-based logistics. OIC-Regional Director of DTI IV-A, Ms. Marissa C. Argente delivered her inspirational message and congratulated the CHAMPS beneficiaries and the DTI Rizal for this innovative initiative of preparing MSMEs to DTI’s flagship programs.

The webinar was participated by 75 grateful CHAMPS participants and sit in entrepreneurs. The Module was discussed by resource speaker, Mr. Jorge Noel Y Wieneke, CEO of Jwein Food Corp. Mr. Jorge shared more motivational situations and examples about entrepreneurial mind setting that made the participants participate actively. Furthermore, he quoted “Ang Negosyo,sa umpisa inaalagaan, sa huli, ang Negosyo mo ang mag-aalaga sayo.”

Participants have actively participated in the discussion. The discussion stirred the curiosity and eagerness of the entrepreneurs to scale up their businesses. The virtual certificate of appreciation was presented to the resource speaker by Business Counselor Genebee Nofuente. Lastly, BDD Chief Sharon Dioco thanked and expressed her appreciation to the resource speaker and to all the participants in her closing remarks. The program ended at 4:00 in the afternoon.♦
