The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal through the Negosyo Center Antipolo, conducted Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) orientation for MSEs in Antipolo City last 11 May 2022 at City Mall of Antipolo, Cogeo, Antipolo City. The activity started at 1:30 in the afternoon and was attended by 32 existing entrepreneurs from various barangays in Antipolo City.

The session started with an opening prayer led by Victorino Marcelino of Antipolo Investment & Promotions Office (ANTIPO) and Negosyo Center Antipolo LGU Counterpart. Ms. Amalia Engalla, Antipolo Trade and Investment Promotion Officer, delivered a warm message to participants, expressed her thanks and welcomed them to the orientation.

Business Counselor Daryl Andres began to present the DTI programs and services, also the twin mandates of the agency. He discussed the 7M’s to create smarter and successful entrepreneurs, and also the programs that incorporate into it like Kapatid Mentor ME, OTOP, SSF, and Tindahang Rizalenyo. He presented the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) and its requirements, eligibility, and incentives as well.

Lastly, PPG Support Staff Jocelyn Ferrer oriented the participants about the PPG program that will help the micro enterprises. At the end of the activity, BC Andres and Ms. Jocelyn showed their gratitude to the participants for their time and presence, for the activity in which the participants thanked them as well, and for the DTI programs that were introduced to them.

The participants were also assisted by providing them with information materials such as Negosyo Center Functions, 7Ms, BMBE, and PPG flyers. The fruitful session concluded successfully at four o’clock in the afternoon. ♦
