The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Quezon, through Negosyo Center Sariaya, conducted the Livelihood Seeding Program – Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP–NSB) in cooperation with the Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) headed by OIC – Erwin Eagamino and in coordination with the Barangay Local Government Units of Barangay Lutucan 1, Barangay Sampaloc Sto. Cristo and Barangay Bignay 1. The main purpose of the program is to bring government services closer to the people.

Due to the current alert level condition and the election season, the Sangguniang Barangays led by Brgy. Capt. Eliezer Sayat of Brgy. Lutucan 1, Brgy. Capt. Pedro Atienza of Brgy. Sampaloc Sto. Cristo, and Brgy. Capt. Edgardo Britania of Bignay 1, facilitated the distribution of flyers containing relevant data on the different services provided by the DTI and a hygiene kit containing a pack of face masks to the residents of their barangay, while Negosyo Center Sariaya Business Counselor Shayne B. Nocus discussed the different DTI programs and services, and conducted a brief orientation on entrepreneurial mind-setting, integrated business licensing, and the Anti-Money Laundering Act of the Philippines to the participants including the beneficiaries of the program.

Five (5) beneficiaries from Brgy. Lutucan 1, Brgy. Sampaloc, Sto. Cristo and Brgy. Bignay 1, will be awarded livelihood kits that consist of items that could aid and improve their businesses. ♦
