Cabuyao City – In these trying times, many businesses struggle to stay afloat and market their businesses online. After all, there’s been an influx in businesses shifting online. With a lot of information available online, it’s easy to get overwhelmed.
This is why Negosyo Center Cabuyao City in cooperation with the local government unit conducted a webinar on digital marketing tips, tools and best practices for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) via Zoom on September 10, 2020. This aims to present an excellent forum to meet and exchange ideas on how to prepare a digital marketing plan. The webinar is part of the SME Roving Academy, a continuous learning program led by the Department of Trade and Industry for the development of MSMEs to become competitive in the domestic and international markets.
DTI-Laguna Negosyo Center Senior Business Counsellor Joemarie C. Valizado, a Google Digital Garage Certified with a degree in Management Accounting, served as the Resource Speaker for this event. She gave a brief background on marketing in general and later discussed digital marketing. She also cited plenty of tips and tools to assist MSMEs in their digital marketing efforts. More so, the participants actively participated in an activity prepared by Valizado.
After the webinar discussion, Mr. Christian Benedict Bueno, City Cooperative and Livelihood Development and Public Employment Service Office Head of LGU Cabuyao City, gave a short closing remarks and expressed his gratitude for the MSMEs who continue to attend our webinars and value continuous learning. The MSMEs who attended expressed their gratitude for the continued learning programs provided by the DTI and the LGU. These series of Negosyo Center Webinars are expected to continue until the month of November 2020. ♦
