LUCBAN, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)–Quezon, through Negosyo Center–Lucban, participated in the joint inspection of business establishments initiated by the Local Government Unit of Lucban in Barangays 10 (Pob.) and 8 (Pob.), Lucban, Quezon on April 25 and 27, 2023.

The Joint Inspection Team (JIT) is composed of representatives from different regulatory offices, such as the Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO), Treasurer’s Office (MTO), DTI Negosyo Center–Lucban, Engineering Office, Sanitary Office, Agriculture Office, and Assessors Office.

During the inspection, the JIT required business enterprises to display their permits while other regulatory offices checked the establishment’s compliance with their checklist. For those unregistered businesses, a memorandum was issued, giving them five (5) working days to comply with the documentary requirements. In addition, the Negosyo Center Business Counselor verified the validity of DTI business name registration and provided information materials in DTI and Negosyo Center services.

The JIT aims to ensure business establishments, whether small or large, comply with local and national regulations regarding obtaining a business permit. ♦
