PADRE BURGOS, QUEZON — February 22, 2023 – The Negosyo Center (NC) Padre Burgos was invited of the Municipal Social Welfare Development (MSWD) Padre Burgos in their seminar on Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) at Helen Tan Covered Court Padre Burgos to share the services and programs of the Department of Trade and Industry.
MSWD Padre Burgos held a seminar for its members of SLP, wherein the aim was to strengthen the livelihood cash assistance given to each association and individual. Ma’am Dashiell Laudes, MSWD Officer, together with Ma’am Giselyn Pinuela, Livelihood Worker for SLP, invited Negosyo Center Padre Burgos as a speaker to discuss the programs and services of DTI. The event started with the preliminaries, composed of prayer, the national anthem, and an overview of the seminar. Ma’am Pinuela, shared the reminders regarding the given assistance and steps that might help in nurturing the livelihood. Then afterwards, she introduced the Business Counselor of NC Padre Burgos, Ms. Meranel Ann Rustia. NCBC Rustia then discussed the services of the DTI, from the importance of the registration of Business Name, to acquiring the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) Certificate. She also emphasized the vitality of having permits and registering their association with the correct agency. Then proceed with discussing the Rise Up, and other program of DTI.
The aforementioned activity happened at exactly 9:00 in the morning with 50 participants in total from 14 associations and individual members of SLP and lasted until 12:00 in the afternoon.♦
