The Department of Trade and Industry Rizal (DTI Rizal) Provincial Office in collaboration with Rizal’s strong industry associations Samahan ng mga Rizaleno sa sektor ng Agrikultura at Pagkain (SARAP) and Rizal Exporters and Manufacturers Association Inc. (REMAI) is currently showcasing various best products of the Rizal Province with more than thirty participating micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) during the Pamaskong Handog ng Tindahang Rizalenyo which started last 27 November till 13 December 2020 at the SM City Masinag, Antipolo City.

This initiative is part of DTI Rizal’s effort to support MSMEs during the pandemic, the government agencies rolled out several measures to help these MSMEs to pivot their operations. Hence, the DTI Rizal Provincial Office in its effort to fuel up the bouncing back of the MSMEs amidst the pandemic effect of the COVID-19 and the calamities that hit the country continuously provides assistance in marketing and product development. The implementation of the One Town One Product Next Generation (OTOP NextGen) and Bamboo Product Development Project under the Industry Cluster Enhancement (ICE) Program had developed new products and prototypes with potential market opportunities. With these several flagship programs of DTI enables our MSMEs and communities to support and promote products that are rooted in its local culture, community resource, creativity, connection, and competitive advantage.

During its Opening Ceremony, SM City Masinag officials led by Asst. Mall Manager Raymond Bonifacio, Antipolo Mayor Andrea Bautista-Ynares, DTI Assistant Secretary Demphna Du-Naga, OTOP Designer Rommel Viloria, KMME Mentor Dennis Orlina, and Provincial Director Mercedes Parreno together with the SARAP and REMAI graced the event.

DTI Asec. Demphna Du-Naga congratulated the MSMEs who are resilient and creative to face various challenges in their businesses. She also reiterated DTI’s support to fully develop a marketing avenues Rizal MSMEs thru the One Town One Product Next Generation. DTI Rizal Director Mercedes Parreño reminded MSMEs that DTI continues to explore the potentials of new and bigger markets to further their growth. According to her, this marketing activity will provide Rizal MSMEs a viable option to improve their business and encourage them to reach out to new markets with the support of the SM City Masinag and the two Rizal’s strong industry associations. She also added that this marketing event will showcase new products and fresh labels and packaging under the One Town One Product and Industry Cluster Enhancement (ICE) Program. Mayor Andrea Bautista-Ynares of Antipolo City is grateful for the active participation of MSMEs in this marketing event.

Video messages of DTI-4A Regional Director Marilou Toledo and Governor Rebecca Ynares were also shown during the Opening Ceremony.

The companies whose new products launched under the OTOP Program include Daen Enterprises, Dig Deep Ice Cream House, EF Pirote Food Products Manufacturing, JM Cruz Fruit Juice Manufacturing, J15 Mother Nurture and Wellness Enterprise, Lmjean Skin Care Products Manufacturing, Maflor Home of Healthy Foods, RM Green and Gold Harvest Farm Product Co. Sawasee Tanay Thai Restaurant, Stagira Farms, Swirls N Sprinkles Bakeshop, MD Cerezo Rubber Arts and Crafts, RDBA Industry, Mariya’s Cut and Sew, Sassy’s Creation Enterprise, JETERRA Fine Foods, MNCO Enterprises, KVS Bags and Apparels, and Malingkat Enterprise. Under the Bamboo Product Development, products of Louniel Handicrafts, San Damiano Bamboo Producers Cooperative, and Cardona MPC will be also launched.

This Marketing event, strongly supported by Rizal Provincial Government, features a wide array of quality products such as holiday and houseware décors, wearables, furniture, natural and organic products, and fresh and processed food products from 13 Municipalities and the 1 City of Rizal Province.♦
