Superticioso, the Adjudication Officer of the Bureau of Legal Affairs at the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPhil), shared invaluable insights with the participants.

The webinar, hosted by the Business Counselor, Mr. John Francis L. Sta. Atty. Mars B. Superticioso, the distinguished guest speaker, delved into the fundamentals of intellectual property during his session. He shed light on the essential aspects of IP enforcement and provided insightful examples of its significance for businesses, startups, and individual artists. Atty. Superticioso expertly clarified the intricacies of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade protection, dispelling common misconceptions and guiding businesses on safeguarding their intangible assets.  He highlighted the importance of adapting legal frameworks to address emerging threats, such as online piracy and counterfeiting.

Ms. Marlene G. De Luna, Senior Trade and Industry Development Specialist, delivered closing remarks that emphasized the significance of IP protection.
