The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Rizal Provincial Office through Negosyo Center Antipolo City in collaboration with the City Government of Antipolo and Hapinoy conducted a webinar on Business Record-Keeping last 23 April 2021 via Zoom and DTI-Rizal Facebook Live.
Business Counselor Jenephel Carman facilitated the webinar and presented the topic on business name registration. She discussed Business Name Law, salient features of Business Name Certificate, business name processing requirements, acceptable ID’s, application fee, online application, other business name services, next steps after registering in DTI, and the various Negosyo Centers in Rizal Province. DTI-Rizal Business Development Division (BDD) Chief reiterated the importance of business record-keeping especially for the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Hence, Hapinoy, DTI-Rizal’s partner in providing assistance for the beneficiaries of Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay, was tapped again to provide knowledge for these MSMEs on the business record keeping.
Mr. Lean Purawan is a Training Officer of Hapinoy that handles the creation of modules and facilitation of training that aims to harness and sustain the sari-sari store businesses. Mr. Purawan explained his presentation in detail, he discussed the reasons for business failure, the importance of record-keeping, do’s and don’t’s on record-keeping, tips on using digital record-keeping, and the Kita Calculator by Hapinoy in the New Normal for sari-sari Stores. As he ended his presentation, Mr. Purawan entertained the questions from the viewers.
Mr. Victorino Marcelino of the Antipolo Trade and Industry Promotion Office shared a short message for the MSMEs who joined the webinar. He expressed his gratitude to Hapinoy for partnering with DTI-Rizal in helping and scaling up the MSMEs in the province. He encouraged everyone to actively participate in the upcoming online seminars of the DTI Provincial Office and the Negosyo Centers of Rizal Province. ♦
