The meeting for startups in Region 6 was held to identify strategies on how to harmonize the projects of the two agencies for startups in the region, the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) Moonshot TNK Pitching Competition for Startups and the Department of Information and Communication Technology’s (DICT) PH Startup Challenge.

This year will definitely be an exciting year for startups with the partnership developed by these two remarkable agencies in creating the startup ecosystem in Western Visayas. Present during the meeting were DTI Regional Director (RD) Rebecca M. Rascon, Assistant RD Ermelinda P. Pollentes, Mary Jade Gonzales, Angeli Tayona, Angelo Patrimonio, MIS Staff and IT-BPN focal persons of DICT, Arnold Abagat and Marvin Manuel. ♦
