  1. Who should be required to present vaccination cards?
    – individuals 18 y/o and above entering the following establishments:
    – Indoor dine-in
    – Personal care establishments
    – Fitness studios/gyms/venues for non-contact sports
    – Venues for all contact sports
    – Venues for meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions
    – Venues for social events
    – Visitor or tourist attractions
    – Amusement parks and theme parks
    – Recreational Venues
    – Cinemas / Moviehouses
    – Venues with live voice or wind-instrument performers and audiences
    – Funfairs/peryas and kid amusement industries
    – In-person religious gatherings

  2. How about those aged 17 y/o and below, should we deny them entry?
    – Children aged 17 y/o and below are not required to present proof of full vaccination and should not be denied entry in any establishment by reason of vaccination status.

  3. Should malls be requiring vaccination cards?
    – No, see #2 for the list of establishments that are required to cater to fully vaccinated ages 18y/o above.
Restaurants
  1. Can we remove table-top acrylic/plastic dividers?
    – Yes, acrylic/plastic dividers are now optional.

  2. Should we still enforce physical distancing among our patrons?
    – Physical distancing is no longer required in AL1. Hence, diagonal seating arrangements may no longer be implemented.

  3. Are buffet services still limited to managed buffets / with food servers?
    – Buffet services may now be implemented without food servers.

  4. Can we now use self-service stations such as do-it-yourself customer refill or condiment stations?
    – Yes, self-service stations such as do-it-yourself customer refill or condiment stations can now be used.

  5. Can we reopen our play areas?
    – Yes, play areas can be reopened.
Personal Care Establishments

Can our clients remove face masks?
– Yes, depending on the service to be performed.

Gyms and Fitness Studios
  1. Can our clients remove face masks?
    – No. Gym-goers must wear face masks at all times.

  2. Can we now open shared water fountains?
    – No. Water fountains, except for no-touch bottle refill stations, shall remain prohibited to use.
Cinemas and Movie Houses
  1. What’s the physical distancing requirement for cinemas?
    – Like other establishments, cinemas may operate at 100% capacity without regard to physical distancing. The one-seat-apart arrangement between each patron is no longer required.

  2. Can movie-goers eat/drink in cinemas?
    – Yes, just make sure to remind movie-goers to wear their face masks when they are not eating/drinking.
Non-Contact Sports Courts and Venues

Can our customers remove face masks?
– Face masks may be removed while playing sports or exercises in indoor venues where ventilation can be maintained, and in outdoor venues where physical distancing can be maintained.

Golf Courses
  1. What’s the physical distancing requirement for golf courses?
    – Physical distancing is no longer required.

  2. Are we still required to schedule flights at twelve (12) minutes apart?
    – Scheduling flights at twelve (12) minutes apart each is no longer required. Also, there will be no prescribed limit to the number of players per flight.

  3. Are tee boys/girls allowed to tee golf balls for the patrons?
    – Yes, tee boys/girls are allowed to tee golf balls for the patrons.
Bowling Alleys, Skating Rinks
  1. Do we have to leave open lanes / tables in between those that are being used?
    – No, since all establishments may operate at 100% capacity.

  2. Can food and drinks be consumed within playing areas?
    – May be allowed by management.

  3. Can players remove face masks when playing?
    – No, players cannot remove their face masks when playing.
Amusement Parks and Theme Parks

Do we need to continue with our loading and spacing procedures for our rides?
– No. Loading and spacing procedures may be implemented without regard to physical distancing.

Internet Cafes
  1. Do we have to allot 1 meter distance in between computer cubicles?
    – Physical distancing of one (1)-meter between computer cubicles is no longer required.

  2. Do we need to continue using acrylic/plastic barriers?
    – Physical barriers between cubicles can be dispensed with.
Amusement Arcades

Can we reopen soft-play areas, playhouses, KTV rooms, and stage-type videoke rooms?
– Yes, soft-play areas, playhouses, KTV rooms, and stage-type videoke rooms can be reopened.
