Hong Kong – The Department of Trade and Industry through the Philippine Trade and Investment Center – Hong Kong (PTIC-HK) conducted another Trabaho Negosyo Kabuhayan webinar entitled: “Paano Magsimula ng Negosyo” which aimed to provide Overseas Filipino Investors (OFIs) residing in Hong Kong and Macau ways on how to start their own businesses in the Philippines, last 29 October 2023.

The webinar was co-organized with the Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong (PCGHK) and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration – Hong Kong (OWWA-HK) which gathered five hundred and fifty-three (553) registrants.

Consul General of the Philippines in Hong Kong, Atty. Raly L. Tejada welcomed the participating OFIs and emphasized the importance starting their own businesses with their hard-earned money.

Further, he encouraged the OFIs to seize the business opportunities in the Philippines, such as the agriculture sector.

Atty. Roberto B. Mabalot, Jr., Vice Consul (Commercial) and Commercial Attaché of the PTIC-HK moderated the event which featured discussions on how the participating OFIs can make an effective business plan and different ways to jumpstart a business in the Philippines.
