Butuan City is the venue of the 11th National Palm Oil Congress on 21-22 March 2019 at Almont Inland Resort. Experts of the Palm Oil industry will discuss the following: Global Palm Oil Outlook, Palm Oil an economic growth driver for Central Mindanao, Palm Oil Biodiesel and its relevance in the Philippine Market, Palm Oil applications in the Food chain, and the various programs in support to the Palm Oil industry.
Five hundred (500) different stakeholders of the industry particularly the Oil Palm growers from all over the country are expected to attend. The congress will also tackle to resolve challenges confronting the industry such as the price, financing, environment, and areas for plantation development.
Pushed by the DTI-Caraga Regional Director Brielgo O. Pagaran, Palm Oil is one of the priority industries in Caraga.
The congress is hosted by the Philippine Palm Oil Development Council Inc., ( PPDCI) in cooperation with Caraga Palm Oil Development Council, Inc., ( CCDCI).
