The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 2 led by Regional Director Leah Pulido Ocampo meets the Tuguegarao City officials on 07 October 2019, at the Sangguniang Panlungsod Session Hall, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan to push the passing of the Ordinance prioritizing locally made products in the procurement activities of government agencies in Tuguegarao City.

During the committee hearing on the draft ordinance “2019 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Development and Assistance Program of Tuguegarao City”, RD Ocampo emphasized that through the approval of the ordinance, more MSMEs will be developed and assisted using convergence approach wherein different government agencies, local and national, pool together their resources towards providing a holistic assistance to MSMEs in Region 2.

Other DTI Officials present were DTI Cagayan Provincial Director Ma. Salvacion Castillejos, Atty. Maria Liza Guzman, and Chief of Staff Michael Paggabao.♦
