DTI Rizal together with the teachers from Juan Sumulong Memorial School.

SUMULONG, RIZAL — Juan Sumulong Memorial School invited DTI Rizal to join and share their expertise during its Work Immersion Program.

More than 200 Accounting Business Management and Home Economics strand students from various branches of the said school actively participated in the activity. It was part of their preparation as they’ll enter their college journey. This program focuses mainly on guiding Senior High Schools on the path they may choose at their tertiary level.

Topics presented were: Consumer Rights discussed by Ms. Joanna Caldito, Trade and Industry Specialist; DTI Programs and Services, BN and BMBE registration tackled by Business Counselor Raymond Melendres and How to Start Your Own Business and Digital Marketing presented by Business Counselor Jaymielou Benito.

The students are expected to apply their learnings to their upcoming final output in their entrepreneurship subject, wherein they will prepare a business plan for a specific product or service they will engage.
