CAINTA, RIZAL — DTI Rizal Provincial Office thru Negosyo Center Cainta partaken in the Thrive Together: Empowering Youth with Disabilities under Self-employment Training of Cainta PWD Office held at Barangay San Juan Emergency and Disaster Response Center, Cainta, Rizal.

This program was initiated by the NGO Humanity and Inclusion in partnership with FWD Insurance and Leonard Cheshire Disability-Philippines Foundation Inc. Negosyo Center Business Counselor – Cainta Jaymie Benito was invited to discuss the agency’s programs and services to 27 PWD beneficiaries of the said program. Ms. Benito highlighted DTI’s flagship programs and DTI Rizal’s localized programs. She also explained the Business Name and BMBE registration processes.

Along with BC Benito, staff from the organizing agency which is the Humanity and Inclusion also presented in the program. Mr. Julius Placer explained the Marketing and Ms. Roselle Cadorna discussed the Entrepreneurship Mindset. The main goal of this Self-employment Training is to encourage the person with disabilities to gain employment by starting up their own business and formalize it. ♦
