Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI-Laguna) through its Negosyo Center in collaboration with the Mabitac local government unit successfully conducted a seminar entitled “Navigating Digital Transformation: Challenges and Opportunities for Entrepreneurs as well as DTI Programs and Services cum Consumer Education”. This was held at the Mayor’s Office of the New Municipal Building in Mabitac, Laguna, to set awareness and realization among participants on the increasing demand of transitioning to digital marketing. The attendees came from different industries like rattan, pastries, delicacies, and others.

Following the preliminaries, the speaker initiated the discussion on the first topic, focusing on navigating digital transformation: the challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs. During the session, the speaker provided real-life examples of tools and shared short stories to assist and guide the participants in navigating the digital promotion of their products. This practical approach likely helped the participants to grasp the concepts more effectively and envision how they could apply them to their own businesses.

Throughout the discussion, the participants actively engaged by asking questions about the topics discussed and sought information about programs and services offered by DTI-Laguna. Additionally, they expressed a keen interest in learning more about consumer rights and responsibilities, indicating their eagerness to acquire comprehensive knowledge in this area.

To conclude the activity, Malanog expressed her appreciation and delivered closing remarks to all the attendees, acknowledging their active participation and contributions to the session.
