SINILOAN, LAGUNA — The Department of Trade and Industry – Laguna Provincial Office (DTI Laguna) through Negosyo Center Siniloan facilitated a Web-based seminar on How To Get Customers To Love You: Branding and Social Media Marketing cum Consumer Education via Zoom last 22 February 2023.

The webinar was hosted by Negosyo Center Business Counselor Josephine Ballesteros of Negosyo Center Siniloan. The afternoon session started its course with an opening prayer followed by earnest welcome remarks from the Officer-In-Charge of DTI Laguna, Mr. Christian Ted O. Tungohan. The ever-active OIC Provincial Director voiced his appreciation to the participants, acknowledging their time and eagerness to learn from the webinars facilitated by the Department.

Afterwards, the Business Counselor gave a short overview of the afternoon’s program sequence and proceeded to introduce the speaker for Consumer Education, Senior Trade and Industry Specialist of DTI Laguna, Ms. Monica Abarca. Her deliberation of the topic was simple but informative. She advised the participants to recognize their rights not only as patrons of products and services but also as consumers. Shortly after, Business Counselor Ballesteros continued the program by introducing the next speaker to discuss the highlighted topic of the afternoon.

Ms. Danica De Vera, a Brand and Social Media Strategist, commenced her discussion by sharing the purpose of her topic before giving a quick peek at her career background. De Vera delivered a lecture on branding, anatomy of a winning profile and business page content creation using easy to understand terms giving a relaxed approach. Moreover, she also offered her marketing assistance to participants of the webinar for free. The aforesaid webinar received positive feedbacks from the seventy-four (74) participating existing and potential entrepreneurs from Siniloan to as far as the cities of Iloilo and Baguio. ♦
