Cagayan Valley MSMEs proudly display their handcrafted creations at the opening today of the Manila FAME, World Trade Center Metro Manila. The region’s pavilion dubbed as ‘Crafts of Quirino Province’ and ‘Bountiful Cagayan Valley’ is located at booth numbers E11-13.

The show’s opening ceremony was graced by the officers and staff of DTI Region 2 led by Regional Director Leah Pulido Ocampo, OIC PD Mary Ann Dy, and ADC Atty. Michael Paggabao, as well as the Quirino Provincial Government Office led by Vice Governor Julius Ceasar Vaquilar, Provincial Administrator Carmelita Jimenez, and Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member Magdalena Saladino.  Joining them are DTI leaders led by Usec. Carol Sanchez, Asec. Leny Baluyut, Asec. Dominic Tolentino, Asec. Cris Roque, OIC RD Ma. Sofia Narag, former RD Marcy Alcantara, and former RD Marilou Toledo.

The regional pavilion features the best of the best of Quirino Province, which is set to join Ambiente 2024 in Germany as a featured province.

The ‘Crafts of Quirino Province’ and the ‘Bountiful Cagayan Valley’ booth welcomed visitors who admired the artisanal crafts made from different indigenous materials that abound in the region.

The DTI R2 invites all buyers and design enthusiasts to support these creatives by visiting the Manila FAME at the World Trade Center-Metro Manila which will run until October 21. ♦
