BATANES — As the municipality of Ivana celebrates its first-ever Wakay Festival, its LGU, in collaboration with DTI R2 Batanes, opened its Night Bazaar on 23 April 2023 at the Ivana Lighthouse Boulevard.

Featuring local products and food, it is expected that the activity will give life and excitement to the locals and tourists during the evenings as the community enjoys leisure at night.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was graced by the Ivana Mayor, Hon. Celso A. Batallones, DTI OIC-Provincial Director Ms. Ellerie Mila G. Ramel, Honorable Vice Mayor Jerry A. Agana, members of the Sangguniang Bayan, and the participating exhibitors.

The night bazaar, a prelude to the upcoming grandiose town fiesta, will run until 1 May 2023, from 5 pm to 12 midnight.
