The delegation from Region 2 CAEXPO embarked on a learning visit by joining the Nanning Study and Business Tour and Merchandise Visit on 16 September 2023 in Nanning, Guangxi, China to observe the best practices and innovations and explore opportunities for the possible forging of partnerships that could be applied to the betterment of the Philippines’ economic landscape.
The delegation’s visit encompassed a series of engagements with prominent organizations in Nanning, Guangxi, China, each offering unique insights and opportunities for collaboration. Among the notable entities visited were the State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC), Guangxi Minzu University (GXMZU), the China-ASEAN Mercantile Exchange (CAMEX), the China-ASEAN Business Center (CABC), and the innovative OLE located in Mix City.
Tuguegarao City Mayor Maila Ting Que invited the State Power Investment Corporation Limited (SPIC) and Guangxi Minzu University (GXMZU) to visit Tuguegarao City in December 2023 for possible partnership.
Leading the delegation was DTI Cagayan Provincial Director, Mr. Henry Conel Jr., along with Atty. Michael Paggabao, the Assistant Chief of SMEDD, BDD Chief Cynthia Talattad, STIDS Cheeza Tagarino, and STIDS Charles Tagarino.
The learning visit provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and a stepping stone toward building enduring partnerships.
