The Kadiwa ng Pangulo Program, led by President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., was rolled out nationwide on 17 July 2023.

Each province in the region actively participated in the said program. The one-day program generated a total of around P730,008.03 in sales. The event showcased 117 exhibitors from the agri-fishery sector, local handicraft manufacturers, and small business owners.

The main objective of the program is to empower local farmers and fisherfolks, including local MSMEs, by establishing direct market connections, enabling them to sell their produce directly to consumers. By eliminating multiple market layers and intermediaries, the program allows these local players to earn higher profits. Concomitantly, the reduction in business expenses makes fresh, high-quality products more affordable for consumers.

The Kadiwa ng Pangulo Program is made possible through a partnership between several government agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Labor and Employment, and Provincial and Local Government Units.
