26 May 2023 | Consumerism lies at the heart of any successful business venture. Recognizing this, the Department of Trade and Industry – Quezon, through the DTI Negosyo Center – Gumaca, collaborated with Holy Child Jesus College and designed a symposium to help students comprehend the complex dynamics between consumers and businesses.
Mr. Ruel Y. Gabiola, Senior Trade Industry Development Specialist of DTI Quezon, Consumer Protection Division, discussed the following topics: Consumer Rights and Responsibilities, Consumer Protection in Internet Transactions, Price Tag Law (RA 71), and Business Name Law (RA 3883). The symposium provided aspiring entrepreneurs and future business leaders with valuable insights into the world of consumerism and its impact on the business landscape. With a focus on equipping students with essential knowledge and skills, the seminar fostered a deeper understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and effective strategies for building successful businesses.
