TESDA Cainta in cooperation with the Department of Trade and Industry Rizal conducted an Entrepreneurship Seminar dated November 22, 2023. Topic discussed were the DTI’s Programs and Assistance and also Starting Your Own Business (SYOB). A total of fifty-eight (58) participants attended the said activity, they were new graduates of TESDA’s Vocational Training Courses on Electrical and Dress Making.

The said activity was organized and requested by Ms. Evangelina Plazo, TESDA Center Head Cainta. This part of their process of turning their graduates into entrepreneurs because they also believe that enterprising is more empowering than having these graduates seek employment.

Negosyo Center Taytay’s Business Counselor Melendres discussed the DTI’s Programs and Assistance to entrepreneurs namely, Negosyo Centers, Mentor Me/KMME, OTOP, PPG, SSF, CARP, ICEP, YEP, Seminars and Webinars, and consultancy assistance from product development to Marketing. Also discussed were the importance of knowing your business inside and out, knowing were to buy the lowest price of raw materials, the comparison on the income side of being employed and having a business of their own particularly the newly graduates Electricians. ♦
