CAINTA, RIZAL — August 1, 2023, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Rizal Provincial Office thru Negosyo Center Cainta successfully conducted an orientation for the 20 profiled and selected carinderia owners in Cainta, Rizal under the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) program. It was held at 1st floor, Tanghalan ng Bayan, Cainta Municipal Compound., Sto. Domingo, Cainta, Rizal.
The main objective of the orientation was to educate the beneficiaries on the programs and services of DTI, particularly on the PPG program.
Business Counselor Jaymie Benito led the discussion on the Programs and Services of DTI. She presented the flagship programs of DTI such as the KMME, OTOP, CMI, SSF, YEP, IPO, Negosyo Center, CARP and NSB and the localized ones which are being implemented by DTI Rizal which are CHAMPS and Digital Tuesdays.
Afterwards, Trade and Industry Specialist and PPG Coordinator, Ms. Jonalyn Adaya headed the presentation of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa (PPG) Program. Ms. Adaya highlighted the program’s main objective which is to help the micro-enterprises recover and rebuild their businesses after facing unforeseen incidents, calamities, and health pandemics.
The chosen beneficiaries were all ears on the discussion and felt surprised and grateful at the same time from what they’ve heard. After the discussion of Ms. Jonalyn, the Pledge of Commitment is being signed by each beneficiary.
Then, a photo opportunity was done, capturing the best smile of the beneficiaries. It was graced by Ms. Marlene De Luna-Senior Trade and Industry Specialist, Ms. Adaya, BC Benito and Ms. Jocelyn Ferrer- PPG Staff.
This orientation was made possible with the facilitation of BC Jaymie and in partnership with the Local Government of Cainta. Participants showed remarkable support for the program by expressing their gratitude and willingness to uplift their businesses through the assistance that will be given by DTI. ♦
