Francisco Viceni Alba II, an esteemed Adjudication Officer from the Bureau of Legal Affairs of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPhil), as the guest speaker. Atty. The event commenced with opening remarks from Ms. Cleotilde M. Duran, the Provincial Director of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Rizal, expressing gratitude to all the attendees and emphasizing the significance of the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines’ support. Ms. Duran highlighted the timeliness of the webinar, given the rising issues pertaining to trademark ownership.

Atty. Francisco Viceni Alba II delved into the intricacies of intellectual property adjudication and mediation, shedding light on the legal aspects and processes involved

in resolving disputes related to intellectual property rights. He emphasized the importance of protecting intellectual property and discussed various methods of adjudication and mediation available to parties involved in intellectual property disputes. Atty. Alba II provided practical examples through video samples, illustrating possible resolutions to intellectual property disputes.

Throughout the session, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and seek clarification on specific scenarios related to intellectual property disputes. Atty. Alba II patiently addressed these queries, further enriching the audience’s understanding of the subject matter.
