ANTIPOLO CITY — In support of the MSE growth in the nation, the DTI and Go Negosyo continue to implement a government-funded mentoring program known today as Kapatid Mentor Micro Enterprise (KMME) since 2016. The program aims to assist existing MSEs to scale up their business by providing weekly mentoring sessions for free covering key areas of entrepreneurship such as marketing, HR, accounting, finance, operations management, product development, and other areas.

To better focus on various sectors, the KMME-MME instigated batching of mentees in 2021. This year, the DTI Region 4-A was assigned to select the program’s recipients from different sectors coming from the manufacturing and services industries.

These mentees have successfully inked their Pledge of Commitment to the program witnessed by DTI Rizal’s OIC-Provincial Director Cleotilde M. Duran, Business Development Division Chief Sharon F. Dioco together with KMME Provincial Coordinator Sep Garchelee Anjelon G. Laurel.

These selected mentees have agreed to diligently attend the 10 modules on specified scheduled sessions and actively participate during its conduct, diligently comply with assigned work from the mentors, submit updates on the performance of the enterprise, participate in other programs of Go Negosyo, BMSMED, and DTI especially the follow-ups for mentees, and actively participate in post-program assessment on how to improve the program.

The official launch of the program is set to take place on April 18, 2023.
