ANTIPOLO CITY — The Department of Trade and Industry – Rizal (DTI-Rizal) thru Negosyo Center Antipolo Business participates in the Joint Monthly Meeting of the Manilabay Task Force – Inspection and Monitoring Team (MBTF-IIMT) and the Antipolo City Solid Waste Management Board. This significant gathering took place on July 21, 2023, at the Session Hall in Barangay Muntindilaw, Antipolo City, Rizal. Business Counselor Daryl Andres represents DTI Rizal Provincial Office and participates in addressing various crucial environmental issues and discuss pertinent topics, which included:

  1. Updates on Informal Settlers Families (ISF) of Barangays: The meeting began with a discussion on the current status of Informal Settlers Families in the various Barangays of Antipolo City.
  2. Enhancement to the No Segregation, No Collection Policy: The discussions aimed to strengthen waste segregation practices within the community, emphasizing the need for residents’ active participation in waste management efforts.

Presentation of Muntindilaw Solid Waste Management Practices: The meeting also featured a presentation on the solid waste management practices employed in Muntindilaw. This insightful session allowed for knowledge-sharing and learning from the experiences of neighboring areas, fostering cooperation and collaboration in tackling shared environmental challenges.

The joint monthly meeting fostered a collaborative environment, enabling participants to share their expertise, experiences, and insights into the waste management challenges facing Antipolo City.
