Negosyo Center–San Antonio Business Counselor Daisy S. Lacerna together with the students from San Antonio National Highschool

SAN ANTONIO, QUEZON — The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through Negosyo Center–San Antonio, gave a valuable contribution by being a Resource Speaker in the successful conduct of San Antonio National High School (SANHS)’s Career Expo 2023 with the theme: Bridging Success through Relevant Career Exposure and Career Opportunities held on June 2, 2023, at San Antonio National High School, Barangay Sampaguita, San Antonio, Quezon, headed by Mr. Geronimo Z. Reyes Jr.–SANHS School Principal, Mr. Marlon F. Ballestra–SHS Coordinator, and Ms. Rosalie H. De Guzman–Guidance Coordinator. The session aims to help senior high students be prepared for the profession they want to pursue in the future.

As part of the advocacy of DTI, Negosyo Center–San Antonio Business Counselor Daisy S. Lacerna discussed an Introduction to Entrepreneurship and introduced the YEP-BEYOND program of DTI also known as Youth Entrepreneurship Program–Building and Encouraging Youth Entrepreneurship through E-Commerce, Innovation, and Development which aims to unleash potentials of youth through entrepreneurship.

The event was attended by a total of one hundred ninety-eight (198) students, comprising of one hundred three (103) males and ninety-five (95) females from GAS (General Academic Strand), TVL-ICT (Technical Vocational Livelihood–Information Communication and Technology), and TVL-HE (Technical Vocational Livelihood–Home Economic) academic strands. ♦
