ALTN Fashion Boutique is an in-season entry-level contemporary clothing shop, offering a range of clothes and accessories with a modern touch. The shop also sells thru online platforms.
The shop was founded by Teodora Nario Quion in 2019. The first collection was just comprised of limited styles and colors, but as the customer grew, further investment was needed to introduce more products and increase the stock.
Then, the threat of the pandemic shook her business to the core. Her customers decreased due to implemented quarantine protocols, causing low profit with increasing liabilities.
To counter the effect of COVID-19 in her shop, she sourced out additional funding through DTI’s Pondo sa Pagbabago at Pag-asenso Program. She also realized that online marketing would be the key to success.
According to Ms. Teodora, “Applying for a business loan, with DTI’s program was the perfect solution to help us sustain. After trading for a year, I received the loan. The P3 Loan application process itself was smooth and straightforward. The mentoring that came with it enabled me to make informed decisions as Negosyo Center Counsellors were supportive and answered all my questions.”
As a result, the business grew which enabled Teodora to take on an additional full-time employee. ♦
