NORTHERN MINDANAO — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), the export promotion arm of DTI, and DTI Misamis Oriental paid a courtesy visit to the Provincial Administrator of Misamis Oriental at the Misamis Oriental Provincial Capitol, Cagayan de Oro City on May 30, 2023.
Ms. Katrina Pineda, Ms. Shaira Joy Nacino, and Mr. Julian Bernardo Ferico Torralba from DTI-CITEM met with Misamis Oriental Provincial Administrator John Venice Ladaga, Provincial Government Focal for Coordination Marilyn Legaspi, and Atty. Nenette Vistal to invite the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and stakeholders of the province in the upcoming Manila FAME Trade Show this October 2023.
Manila FAME is the Philippine’s premier trade show for quality home, fashion, and lifestyle products.
Since 1993, it has been supporting and showcasing Philippine MSMEs and artisan communities from the home, fashion, and lifestyle sectors through various capacity-building efforts, collaborations with international design figures, and networking activities with buyers from around the world.
In addition, DTI-CITEM presented CREATEPhilippines, the country’ first government-led content and community platform for the local creative industries, and called on local creatives of the province to be part of its international directory.
The courtesy visit was also attended by DTI Misamis Oriental Business Development Division Chief Jesse Abear and Negosyo Center Business Counselor Ronald Legaspi. ♦
