Santa Cruz, Laguna – The Office of the President recently launched a province-wide social services caravan entitled, the “Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair” Program. Through this administration’s initiative, the Second Legislative District of Laguna took the lead in assembling the Regional Working Committee that will provide almost 160 services from different government agencies.

The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair has identified the province of Laguna to be the host for November 4 to 5, 2023. More than 70,000 Lagunenses and approximately Php300 million worth of government assistance were provided during the first day of the Serbisyo Fair. In line with this, the Department of Trade and Industry represented by its Laguna Provincial Office as one of the 40 agencies who participated in this event offered the following services in the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair:

  1. Business Name Registration
  2. BMBE Registration
  3. Business Counseling
  4. Consumer Welfare Desk
  5. Diskwento Caravan
  6. Trade Fair
  7. Loan Assistance under SB Corporation’s RISE UP Program
  8. Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa

Special Assistant to the President of the Philippines Antonio Lagdameo Jr joined by Laguna Governor Hon. Ramil Hernandez, Vice Governor Karen Agapay, 2nd District Congresswoman Ruth Mariano-Hernandez, DTI Regional Operations Group Assistant Secretary Dominic Tolentino, Jr., DTI4A Regional Director Marissa Argente, DTI4A OIC Assistant Regional Director Revelyn Cortez, Laguna Trade and Industry Provincial Director Christian Ted Tungohan, Batangas Trade and Industry Provincial Director Leila Cabreros, and Small Business Corporation South Luzon Group Department Manager II Ronald Inciong graced the opening ceremony on its first day.

Livelihood kits and multipurpose loan checks were awarded to the beneficiaries of the Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa and SB Corporation’s RISE UP Program during the opening program of the said event.
