TAGBILARAN, BOHOL – DTI Bohol joined the Inauguration of Kadiwa ng Pangulo at the Old Tagbilaran Airport. The opening ceremony was held last March 15, 2024 while the activity lasted until Sunday, 17 March 2024. The inaugural activity was graced by dignitaries who have given their full support to the program.

This event is a collaborative effort between the Provincial Government of Bohol and various national government agencies namely DTI, DILG, DA, DOLE, and DSWD. 

More than a hundred exhibitors, Farmers Cooperative/Association and MSMEs of Bohol clustered as Agricultural Products (Including fishery, crops and others), Processed/Manufactured Products, and those that are ready-to-eat products showcased their products at the fair.

In the three-days marketing activity, a total of 1,171,419.70 sales were generated which half of its total sales was generated during the first day of the Kadiwa ng Pangulo.

DTI 7 gave its full support to the program. Assistant Regional Dir. Esperanza Melgar, in her message of support, emphasized the importance of providing the consumers access to affordable and a wide range of quality products for daily consumption which helps consumers get the best value for their money while supporting local businesses and contributing to the overall economic development of the community which, among others, is the thrust of the department.

The KADIWA ng Pangulo also known as Katuwang sa Diwa at Gawa Para sa Masaganang Ani at Mataas na Kita (KADIWA) is a  market linkage facilitation program for local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs),  Agri-products and other basic commodities to ensure food security, delivery of nutritious food, and access to affordable goods and commodities, to showcase their products and services directly to consumers. It aims to promote local entrepreneurship, encourage economic growth, and enhance consumer access to affordable goods and services.

DTI Bohol extends its gratitude to all participants, exhibitors, and stakeholders whose collective efforts contributed to the resounding success of Kadiwa ng Pangulo.
