TAYABAS, QUEZON — Luis Palad Integrated High School recently hosted a seminar entitled “From Idea to Reality: Seminar on Business Plan Development and Business Registration for Student Entrepreneurs” at the school’s gymnasium on April 4, 2023. The event was attended by Grade 12 students from various academic strands who were interested in learning about entrepreneurship.

The seminar had two speakers who provided valuable insights for the attendees. Ms. Jon Emilou M. Encomienda from DTI-Negosyo Center Tayabas discussed the importance of developing a solid business plan before starting a business. She also shared some tips and strategies on how to develop one. Mr. Mark Jay B. Sumilang from the Local Government of Tayabas City’s Business Permit and Licensing Office, on the other hand, explained the process and requirements for applying for a business permit.

The event ended with the awarding of certificates to the participants and a group photo. The seminar was a great opportunity for Grade 12 students from various academic strands to learn about business plan development and business registration from experts in the field of entrepreneurship. The school hopes to continue hosting similar events in the future to support its students in their entrepreneurial pursuits. ♦
