NORTHERN MINDANAO — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10 joins the Province of Lanao del Norte in celebrating the province’s founding anniversary after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the theme, “Moving Forward Through Resilience, Unity, Peace, and Development”, the 64th Araw ng Lanao del Norte officially started with the opening of its Agri-Aqua Fair on June 29, 2023, at the Agora Complex, Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
Th fair showcased the finest products and services of the local farmers and fisherfolks. It also facilitated valuable connections with potential buyers and investors, fostering economic growth in the province.
More activities were lined up in the 64th Araw ng Lanao del Norte, including the Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan at Kadiwa sa Araw ng Lanao, organized by DTI Lanao del Norte and in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte.
The launching of the Agri-Aqua Fair was attended by DTI-10 Regional Director Ermedio Abang and DTI Lanao del Norte Provincial Director Jane Marie Tabucan. ♦
