NORTHERN MINDANAO — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte, in partnership with the Department of Agriculture (DA) and the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, will launch on Thursday, June 29, 2023, the Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan at Kadiwa sa Araw ng Lanao del Norte.
The caravan will be held until June 30, 2023 at the Trade Fair Site Agora Complex near the Provincial Trade Center, Tubod, Lanao del Norte Norte.
Diskwento Caravan is a program of DTI that aims at assisting consumers with access to reasonably priced essential items and essential commodities, providing relief from the escalating prices in the market.
Eight exhibitors have confirmed to provide their basic goods at affordable prices during the two-day caravan: Wizmaster Computer Sales and Services Corporation, Prince Hypermart Kapatagan, Virginia Food Inc., Kalbe International, Affordabess Medical Supplies, Beetle.Brew, Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) DA RFO 10, and HTZ Shopping Center.
To further promote the Diskwento Caravan, DTI Lanao del Norte will utilize its Facebook platform to also sell the basic goods online. Furthermore, it has partnered with a local delivery service, Cart Express Delivery, to cater to the online orders.
The Balik Eskwela Diskwento Caravan at Kadiwa sa Araw ng Lanao is organized in celebration of the 64th Araw ng Lanao del Norte. ♦
