NORTHERN MINDANAO — Local entrepreneurs in Northern Mindanao convey their passion to embrace organic practices by joining experts, practitioners, policymakers, and stakeholders from around the globe in what is considered as one of the largest organic events in the world.
Around 17 MSMEs supported by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Region 10 showcase their products in the 6th Sustainable Organic Agri-Aqua & Livestock Fair 2023 and Trade Exhibits.
The MSMEs brought a variety of their organic food products and non-food items on fashion and wearables and homestyles.
The trade fair is one of the major events of the 6th Organic Asia Congress. It officially opened on June 4, 2023 in Kauswagan International Organic Convention Center, Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte.
The 6th Organic Asia Congress is hosted by the Municipality of Kauswagan with the League of Organic Agriculture Municipalities, Cities, and Provinces of the Philippines (LOAMP-PH) and International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement (IFOAM) Organics Asia. ♦
