The Department of Trade and Industry R2 Cagayan and Cagayan State University (CSU) met at CSU- Andrews Campus for a collaborative effort to bolster local innovation in the Province of Cagayan.

The meeting aimed to harness intellectual property assets, foster the development of novel products, safeguard innovative concepts, and expedite their journey to market. As agreed, DTI R2 Cagayan and CSU will intensify their assistance for FDA-LTO certification of CSU Processing Center and scout for takers of research outputs.

Moreover, a TechTransfer day is planned to be conducted by July this year. Present in the meeting were Vice President Junel Guzman and Dr. Gilbert Magulod from CSU; CTIDS Cynthia Talattad, STIDS Charles Irvin Tagarino, and TIDS Jessamae Babaran from DTI R2 Cagayan; and Engr. Janica B. Tacazon from the Intellectual Property Office DTI Region 2.
