Team DTI R2 Nueva Vizcaya joined the 10th Panlingalingan Festival of Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya as Provincial Director Atty. Michael B. Paggabao was invited as the Guest Speaker and CPD Chief Rowena F. Mayangat served as chairperson of the panel of judges for the Search for the Best Agro-Tourism Booth on 18 April 2024.

In his message, PD Paggabao expressed his gratitude to the LGU led by Mayor Neil Magaway for inviting him to one of the municipality’s momentous occasions.

“This is a call for all of us to recognize the immense potential of our agricultural sector and the pivotal role of our farmers and MSMEs within it. Let us work together to break barriers, foster innovation, and empower our agricultural entrepreneurs to thrive and contribute to a sustainable, inclusive economy,” PD Paggabao said as he emphasized how the Agro Trade Fair served as a platform where innovation and agriculture came together.

Aside from the town’s unique products and produce, the fair also highlighted Dupax del Sur’s tourist attractions, from the Saint Vincent Ferrer Parish to the different falls in which the town takes great pride.

After joining the opening of the Agro-Trade Fair and judging the booths, the team also visited The Green Oasis of Dupax, a budding venture in the food industry known for the unique farm-to-table dining experience that they provide to their customers.

Mr. John Danao proudly showcased their new dishes such as their tomato and citrus pies, cinnamon onion rings, papaya palabok, and more.

Also with PD Paggabao and CPD Chief Mayangat were TIDS Silvester T. Miguel, TIDS Robelyn Mae Lising, and JBC Laura Rina Oliveros.

With the theme: “A Time for Thanksgiving and Joyous Community Celebration”, this 10th Panlingalingan Festival, which refers to ‘gathering’ in Isinay, also features other activities like the Search for Miss Dupax del Sur, Musikahan and Sayawan sa Plaza, Basketball with PBA Legends, Kainan sa Bayan, and more.
