The Department of Trade and Industry Rizal Provincial office represented by OIC Provincial Director Cleotilde Duran together with Business Development Chief Sharon Dioco graced the opening ceremony of Art Capital Bonsai Club Exhibit last November 14, 2023, at the Veterans Park, Angono Rizal.

Ms. Duran along with other guests and the distinguished Angono artist Mr. Nemi Miranda Jr., left an inspiring message to the exhibitors and visitors.

On her speech, Ms. Duran highlighted that DTI as the lead implementing agency of the new Philippine Creative Industries Development Act (RA 11904), is focusing its energy on the promotion and the conversion of arts into something that is profitable as an industry. She also mentions the “FiestaKucha: Philippine Regional Creative Festivals” which will be the platform of celebration, collaboration and promotion of various municipalities in showcasing their creativity, culture and arts.

The exhibit is part of the celebration of Angono Higantes Festival and is open for public viewing until January 2, 2024. ♦
