ANTIPOLO CITY, RIZAL — The Department of Trade and Industry Rizal (DTI-Rizal) joined forces with local tourism officers from the vibrant towns of Angono, Cainta, Rodriguez (Montalban), and Tanay to initiate discussions regarding the inaugural implementation of “FiestaKucha“. This groundbreaking event is set to become a pivotal platform for the celebration, promotion, and enrichment of the diverse talents and creativity that define the cultural landscape of the Philippines.

DTI Rizal Business Development Division Chief Sharon F. Dioco presented a comprehensive overview of the program, delving into its background, objectives, strategies, funding, and planned implementation.

The momentous occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of key figures, including DTI-Rizal OIC Provincial Director Cleotilde M. Duran, STIDS Marlene De Luna, TIDS Jonalyn Adaya, and tourism officers Ms. Marian Michaela Piguing of Tanay, Ms. Jomelyn M. Abuan of Montalban, and Mr. Elmer Deloritos.

Additionally, Ms. Charo S. Ola, President of SARAP, alongside Adonis Antolines, Mr. Franklin Merced, and Ms. Gypsey Bernabat from Angono, as well as Mr. Allan Corrales from Cainta, actively participated in the meeting. Representing the Rizal Provincial Government were Ms. Corazon S. Laserna and Ms. Maria Christine Rollon.

The collaborative efforts of these stakeholders mark the beginning of an exciting chapter in the cultural landscape of Rizal, as “FiestaKucha” promises to be a beacon for the flourishing of artistic expression and creativity throughout the region.
